Responsibilities of Home Health Aide (HHA)

  • Provide direct patient care and assistance to clients in their homes, following established care plans and protocols under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed therapist.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility, while promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assist with medication reminders and administration, ensuring compliance with medication regimens and safety protocols.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a supportive and caring environment.

Requirements for Home Health Aide (HHA)

  • 1 year of Home Health Experience
  • HHA certification required.
