Juice-ologist

Summary
This position will perform all tasks related to making products at Zenful Juice and serving its customers; as well, as procedures for preparing produce and maintaining a clean work environment. This position will be trained in all the necessary and essential functions needed to perform the aforementioned duties and responsibilities as further detailed below.
Requirements

• Must obtain ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire
• Must work in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Must adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Be able to lift up to 35 pounds
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Customer Service

• Assist customers with review of the menu and selection of items for purchase
• Answer customer questions about ingredients and taste of products
• Engage with customers in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner
• Become familiar with all products to assist with answering customer questions
• Answer incoming phone calls
• Use point of sale register system to place orders for customers and collect payment
• Use online order management system to fulfill pick up and delivery of orders
• Deliver orders locally

Product Creation

• Understand how to make every item on the menu following the Zenful Juice menu recipes; including food, smoothies, and juices
• Prepare and serve food items in 5-10 minutes each
• Prepare and serve drink items in 5 mins or less
• Safely handle all equipment, utensils, and supplies

Preparation

• Prepare produce for use in products; to include washing and cutting produce as appropriate
• Restocking fresh and frozen produce in a safe and clean manner

Cleaning

• At all times maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Wash, rinse and sanitize dishes upon completion of orders
• Wipe down and sanitize cutting boards upon completion of orders
• Ensure store maintains a neat and clean appearance at all times
• Clean and “clear” juicer as needed throughout day

Opening/ Closing Procedures

• When working an opening shift, complete store open procedures in accordance with store instructions
• When working a closing shift, complete store closing procedures in accordance with store instructions

Other

• Other duties as assigned by supervisors to ensure the store is properly maintained and our customers receive the best experience possible

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
