Microsoft Power Platform Developer - Certifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTRACTOR’S CANDIDATE

Minimum Qualifications:

• Three (3) years of professional work experience designing, developing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 or PowerApps solutions with Dataverse.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with staff.
• Three (3) years of professional work experience designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and configuring Microsoft Power Pages and the Power Platform.

Preferred Experience:

• Five (5) years or more of professional work experience in planning, designing, configuring, developing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Management, Power Pages, and the Power Platform.
• Certified as a Power Apps Dynamics 365 Developer Associate or a Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
• Skills and experience in conducting meetings with individuals and groups of people to discuss business processes and requirements. The people involved may be at the manager level or end-user level. The people may be business-oriented or technical (IT) staff. The contractor will be expected to lead meetings and discussions related to their work. Experience with Joint Application Development (JAD) and Agile techniques is beneficial.
• Effective communication skills, including the written and verbal ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical business users.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Skills and experience in deriving business process and data requirements from the reading and analyzing of process and systems documentation.
• Skills and experience in translating the information from meetings and written materials into process models and/or process flow models.
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Visio 2019 or newer to create documentation and technical process model diagrams.
• Writing skills and experience to create a data dictionary. Experience in the use of Microsoft Word is required.
• Experience working with IT technical staff to determine the infrastructure components within which any potential solution or modification would need to be able to operate.
• Skill in using source code configuration management tools such as Azure DevOps
• Skill in developing custom solutions using Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server
• Skill in designing, developing, testing, and deploying web-based applications.
• Skill in designing, developing, testing, and deploying database-driven applications accessing Microsoft Dataverse, Oracle, and/or SQL Server.

Educational qualifications meeting at least one of the following levels:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in one of the computer sciences fields or management information systems or five years of work experience in information technology, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, or program evaluation.

Duties

• Designs, develops, implements, and maintains Microsoft Dynamics 365 Case Management, Microsoft Power Pages, Microsoft Power Platform, and SharePoint solutions.
• Document the current (AS IS) state of technical environments.
• Utilize Azure DevOps to manage software projects, from planning and development through testing and deployment.
• Utilize Azure Repos for version control and to manage code. Experience can be with Team Foundation Version Control or Git.
• Operates as a technical lead to design, develop, and implement new solutions.
• Work with business customers to identify requirements.
• Develop system documentation and training plans.
• Performs unit, system, integration, and load testing.
• Performs database analysis and design.
• Researches and resolves problems with Dynamics 365 applications.
• Develop comprehensive test data and plans.
• Document Requirements for Future (TO BE) state of technical environments.
• Perform code reviews and vulnerability scanning.
• Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), Data Dictionaries, and Data Flow Diagrams.
• Act as a mentor and technical trainer to staff.
