Appliance Repair Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Appliance Technician to join our team. As an Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and servicing a variety of household appliances. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose appliance issues.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of household appliances, including refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, washers, dryers, and more
- Perform routine maintenance on appliances to ensure optimal performance
- Install new appliances in customers' homes
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering any questions they may have
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of jobs
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Appliance Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of appliance systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments (e.g., customer homes, tight spaces)
- Experience as a delivery driver or operating a box truck is a plus
- HVAC certification is a plus
