Position Summary and Responsibilities

Zentech is a leading provider of advanced defense electronics solutions, dedicated to safeguarding critical systems and infrastructure for our nation's security. We specialize in the development and manufacturing of cutting-edge electronic systems and equipment for defense applications. As threats in the cyber domain continue to evolve, we are seeking a talented and experienced candidate to join our team and lead our efforts in maintaining the highest level of cybersecurity for our products and operations. 

As the IT Manager at Zentech, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our systems, products, and sensitive data. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies and measures to protect our company's assets from internal and external threats. This position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of defense industry standards and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.   

• Analyze and recommend division IT expenditures based on system quality and responsiveness 
• Prioritize business process and IT projects 
• Serve as a hardware or software information resource and provide end user training
• Develop and maintain employee training programs 
• Ensure that proper safeguards are in place to protect all software and hardware and that the disaster preparedness plan is fully functional and tested 
• Maintain an effective incident response plan, ensuring rapid and effective responses to security incidents, breaches, and emergencies. 
• Serve as the key control center management representative in times of system failure 
• Maintain related process documentation 
• Oversee regular security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments to identify and address weaknesses in our systems and products. 
• Communicate with management, co-workers, internal users, external suppliers, and consultants 
• Train co-workers in the use of software tools

Position Qualifications

• 4-year technology degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management
• 8 years of information systems experience; 5 years of management experience preferred
• Understanding of manufacturing operations to include material procurement, order entry, forecasting, manufacturing, invoicing, customer returns, inventory levels and on-time delivery 
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal 
• Strong understanding of defense industry cybersecurity requirements and regulations
• Ability to effectively mentor employees at all levels 
• Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools 
• Effective analytical, planning, and organizational skills 
• Effective interpersonal skills with employees and customers 
• Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism when representing the company 
• Demonstrate leadership and people management skills 
• Ability to work with a team and the ability to operate on diverse project teams with minimal direction
