About the Role

As Zeplin’s first Social Media Manager, you will have the opportunity to actively engage with our rapidly growing community online. You’ll report to the Director of Content Marketing and work closely with the entire Marketing crew and Design crew to foster a virtual dialogue with Zeplin fans. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role with room to flex both your creative and analytical muscles.  
 

Responsibilities

  • Own social media calendar planning and day-to-day operations, including production process of visually stunning on-brand posts
  • Contribute to quarterly business objectives by increasing social media followers and engagement 
  • Partner with Community Marketing crew to create surprising and delightful moments, giveaways, and user-generated content 
  • Collaborate with the entire Marketing crew to support execution of monthly demand generation campaigns and product announcements
  • Keep a regular pulse on conversations/trends in the product design industry and identify relevant opportunities for Zeplin to engage; Develop a keen sense of what makes our social community tick
  • Advocate and make recommendations around social performance, channel optimization, and messaging
  • Deliver monthly reporting with actionable insights to improve content performance and future campaigns

Key Requirements 

  • Passionate interest in Zeplin the product and/or the product design lifecycle. You have empathy for our customers and their journey
  • Experience in a social media management role, B2B2C SaaS preferred
  • Excellent copywriting skills and a knack for brand voice
  • Hands-on experience managing and growing social media communities on LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram
  • Hands-on experience with repurposing content and optimizing for different social media channels
  • Experience measuring the impact of your work, and presenting results to leadership

Preferred Experience 

  • Big plus if you have hands-on experience (or have managed creative agencies) in designing visual assets for social media
  • Familiar with social media management tools, such as Buffer, Tweetdeck and Feedly. Able to make recommendations for tools that will make your workflow more efficient and cut unnecessary ones
  • You take initiative to find solutions and focus on what must be done to create success
  • You embrace a growth mindset, welcome feedback, and believe there’s always room to learn and grow
