Personal Care Administrator
Must have a Personal Care Administrator License and an RN or LPN License in Pennsylvania to be considered for this position.

Position Summary:
The Administrator provides leadership and direction for overall community operations to insure delivery of quality care and resident centered services in accordance with all laws, regulations, and Zerbe Retirement Community policies. Participate in sales support to meet census goals. Reports directly to the CEO.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in Pennsylvania
- Active Personal Care Home Administrator license with experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of state regulations
- Ability to instruct, direct and lead staff
- Supervisory experience in senior services preferred
Responsibilities
- Interviews, hires, trains, evaluates, supervises, schedules, supports, counsels and develops staff
- Must be able to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, benchmark, and direct staff to ensure high quality resident care and services are delivered
- Must schedule monthly in-services, annual training plan for Dept. of Health Services, insulin retraining, CPR training, maintain medication training and recertification
- Must ensure community is compliant with all Federal, State, local, requirements
- Must ensure census goals are met.
- Must exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude
- Must handle acute resident issues and contact MD, perform quarterly assessments, keep appropriate records/files, order medications, prepare for annual survey, incident reporting, etc.
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents
- Must demonstrate effective people skills with staff, residents, families, vendors, and community
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
- Must be knowledgeable of administration practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the senior services industry
- Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
- Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Code of Ethics and completes all required compliance training
