Inventory Planner

Position Summary: Responsible for the procurement of inbound materials and monitoring of inventory levels in support of customer requirements. Maintain records and reports to support materials function and initiate corrective actions.
What you can look forward to as an Inventory Planner:
- Interface directly with internal/external suppliers
- Manage inventory levels to meet company metrics
- Manage the supplier incoming material flow process from order entry, release, tracking and delivery
- Monitor critical suppliers for capacity issues and long-term planning
- Manage constrained items and internal communication of shortage situations
Your Profile as an Inventory Planner:
- Minimum 1 year of supply chain experience, internships/co-ops included
- Associates Degree and/or Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or similar field preferred
- Able to apply the TS16949 standard
- Experience in ERP Systems (BPCS, PLQ/PUF, SCM, VIN)
- Ability to develop and manage supplier metrics
