Job Title: 3rd shift Lead Maintenance Technician Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:
- Lead, guide, & direct team to complete jobs in a timely manner per established policy and procedure.
- Work with production supervisor to ensure jobs match production priorities.
- Work closely with Maintenance manager to meet established KPI’s and Goals for the department.
- Perform corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for a variety of assembly/machining and test equipment consisting of electronics, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, software, hardware and robotics systems
- Develop, coordinate, track and perform preventive maintenance programs on production equipment (i.e., cleaning, retooling, oil-changing, calibrating, aligning, etc.)
- Assist in process design improvement engineering studies involving product throughput, first-run yields, ergonomics, tooling, equipment and manufacturing processes.
- May liaise with outside vendors
Requirements and qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years with ZF in maintenance department role
- Good communication and detail oriented.
- Multi-tasking
- Minimum 3 years’ experience related hydraulic/ pneumatic, mechanical, electronic, and electrical experience.
- Manual dexterity.
- Ability to use/operate hand tools and/or power tools & shop equipment
- Ability to perform calculations with whole numbers quickly and accurately without a calculator.
- Read, understand, and perceive relevant technical and non-technical material.
- Technical aptitude and strong trouble shooting ability.
- Analytical ability.
- Computer and software literate.
Educational requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Related Technical degree preferred.
Work Conditions:
- Manufacturing area requires safety glasses and steel toed shoes.
- Overtime required most Saturdays and occasional Sundays
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stoop and bend 30% of the time to reach equipment requiring maintenance
- The person in this position needs to be able to stand 70% of the time
- Walks from one piece of equipment to another within 100,000 square foot space.
- Constantly operates hand tools and frequent use of power tools
- Occasionally moves parts weighing up to 30 pounds.
