We are looking for a new colleague in the IAM Chassis & Braking Department at our location in Farmington Hills.
Responsibilities:
- Drive relevant project and project status communication among ZF Stakeholders
- Responsible for building, managing, developing, and leading the product management function for a specific project
- Develops the product line strategy through planning sessions with key internal/external stakeholders, defining product positioning requirements to meet our company profit objectives and brand positioning
- Conduct product profitability studies which include analyzing the cost structure for each product and identify and implement profit improvement actions
- Define, create, and launch new and existing products that provide innovative customer solutions and that enhance the company's profit and sales objective
Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering or related technical field required. MBA preferred
- 4-6 years of automotive experience with 2 years project management experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in Automotive Aftermarket industry
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing, channel development and sales
