About the role We seek a strong sales leader with a compulsion for delivering an exceptional customer experience. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to cultivate operational excellence and deliver on our customer commitment. You will be responsible for growing, leading and developing a sales team; driving loan production and promoting Zillow Home Loans culture across the organization. Your daily responsibilities will include: Modeling the core tenets of an effective leader in communication, involvement, empowerment, and development Aligning with and being a champion of Zillow Group’s Core Values Attracting and retaining high-performing sales professionals Recognizing high performance and reward accomplishments Leading and developing a team of mortgage loan officers and optimize their day to day performance Conducting effective daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings and formal 1:1’s with direct reports Training direct reports to deliver an excellent customer experience Managing your team’s pipeline to close by acting as a liaison between Sales (Origination) and Operations Providing outstanding mentorship and training Driving operational excellence Tracking sales team metrics and reporting data to leadership on a regular basis Demonstrating compliance with all federal and state guidelines and regulations, and keeping up to date on regulation changes Developing and managing development plans to help direct reports meet their objectives Ensuring correct usage of a CRM and other sales applications Collaborating with training organization to ensure proper onboarding and ongoing training exercises are implemented and skillsets are adopted Collaborating with partnering teams Additional job responsibilities as needed This role has been categorized as an Office position. “Office” employees regularly work at an existing ZG corporate office for approximately 80 to 100 percent of their time each month. Employees must live within reasonable commuting distance of their designated ZG office. ZG has not defined a reasonable distance, and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications re: time commitment and cost of daily commute. In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $95,500.00 - $152,500.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role are eligible for incentive compensation and equity awards. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Who you are 2 years’ experience originating residential home mortgages required 3 years of leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop others preferred Bachelor’s Degree preferred Advanced knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, policies, procedures, practices, and documentation Extensive understanding of residential mortgage lending, mortgage product knowledge, and quality control Establishes effective working relationships with individuals and groups across the organization to foster internal and external customer relationships Strong organization skills and thrives under pressure Strong working knowledge of CRM and LOS Software – Preferably Salesforce and Encompass Meets and exceeds company unit and revenue goals Ability to travel a minimum of 5% of the time This role requires the collection, storage, and use of your voiceprints (records of speech) This role has been designated as an Office-based position. Employees must live within a reasonable commuting distance of, but not more than 75 miles from, their designated ZHL branch location.
