Purpose:
The Senior HR Manager will coach, collaborate, and partner with leaders to drive a people-centric approach to attract, retain, reward and grow team members. Working closely with the SVP Human Resources and manufacturing leaders and their teams, the HR Manager will drive approaches, prioritize, influence, plan and implement key people initiatives. This role will connect with team members across the organization to impact people attraction, retention, performance, engagement, and fulfillment. The ideal candidates will thrive working on a variety of HR projects from the tactical to broader company wide initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Human Resource Management
· Establish strong working relationships and credibility by developing a sound knowledge of the business and demonstrating a business focus and results-oriented approach.
· Provide partnership and coaching to team members and people leaders at all levels to positively impact the engagement, development, and retention of talent.
· Provide effective guidance and coaching to leaders on HR policies, individual coaching, team development, and performance to achieve targeted business goals.
· Cultivate and source the best talent for manufacturing.
· Support, foster and role model a culture of inclusion and collaboration to ensure Zildjian is a great place to work.
Rewards
· Understands business leaders' perspectives, develops consensus, and confidently communicates final recommendations and decisions with credibility.
· Manage Vendor relationships, including verification of return on investment.
· Work closely with leaders, HR team and employees utilizing influencing and problem-solving skills to gain the right input into compensation and benefit issues.
· Collaborate with HR team to evolve the compensation philosophy, annual merit/bonus program/management, salary administration, structure, and systems to deliver financial and HR objectives.
· Manage benefits programs including health, welfare and retirement ensuring compliance, cost competitiveness and retention.
Employee Advocate
· Learn and understand roles and career paths to promote quality people and effective organizational decisions that contribute to the development and growth of our people and business.
· Provide support to team members, as well as advocacy when appropriate, to promote a productive, equitable, and enjoyable work environment.
· Support the People Operations Specialist with management of disability, FMLA, leaves of absence with third-party vendors.
Change Agent
· Challenge the status quo and proactively endorse opportunities to increase the Human Resources team's impact on the organization.
· Utilize change management expertise to facilitate, plan and manage transitions, from leader reporting changes, location transfers, through to larger organizational activities.
· Drive, recommend, and manage people approaches and process improvement initiatives to address retention, engagement, fulfillment, and employee development.
· Stay up to date on relevant Human Resources best practices.
Process Expert
· Build and develop proficiency in the use of Paylocity across the HR team and serve as a credible source of employee data.
· Conduct investigations on workplace situations, prepare documentary requirements for complex cases, and as appropriate represent the company in legal matters with a focus on issue resolution.
· Leverage HRIS system and analyze and manipulate workforce data to bring insight into achieving business objectives and people -centric initiatives. This includes leveraging HRIS for training and development.
Background/Qualifications.
· Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources or Certification in Human Resources Management.
· 5 years Human Resources management experience, both in corporate office location and manufacturing settings preferred.
· Experience in managing benefit and compensation programs /policy.
· Preferred experience in DEI with demonstrated cultural/identity adeptness.
· Demonstrated ability to provide stable presence while managing projects during times of rapid change and crisis.
· Demonstrated ability to build trust and effective working relationships through positive personal interactions to promote the values of the organization.
· Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional partners to achieve objectives.
· Proficient HR skills and depth of knowledge including recruiting and staffing, employee advocacy, positive employee relations and engagement, HR compliance, training, and development.
· High levels of emotional intelligence to effectively partner to influence the people agenda and drive teams to alignment and action.
· Experience using data to identify insights that drive action and impact outcomes.
Requirements
