Zilliant is looking for an experienced Director to join our team and lead AI across the portfolio.  In this role, you will be responsible for ideating, validating and launching new AI capabilities - especially new ways for generative AI and conversational assistants to bring value to the pricing process -, iterating on existing AI/ML capabilities, and serving as a thought leader across the organization.  You will be an important voice in our data strategy, ensuring it aligns with the needs and best practices for use in AI.  You will collaborate with our customers, prospects and partners to understand their perspectives, and be our expert voice to the market on the matter. 

This role reports directly to the Vice President, Platform Product Management. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Define top-level product vision and strategy for AI/ML across the product portfolio 
• Create and curate a plan and roadmap with a 1-3 year horizon, that supports the strategy and is backed by research and data driven insights 
• Clearly communicate and evangelize the roadmap to key internal and external stakeholders for validation and feedback. 
• Own the standard and guidelines for ethical use of AI within Zilliant 
• Manage, mentor and develop a team of Product Managers 
• Define and deliver specific features, working directly with UX, Engineering and others to provide direction, prioritization, detailed epics/user stories and ensure successful delivery 

Who You Are: 

• Evidence-guided.  You combine quantitative analysis & qualitative research (user research, competitive intelligence, market research, etc.) to inform crucial product decisions. 
• Flexible and independent. You wear many different hats and may find yourself talking to business executives, engineers, pricing and sales professionals, and IT systems architects in the same day. 
• A problem solver that has a knack for asking the right questions that get to the heart of the problem or desired solution. 
• A great communicator that knows how to communicate in-depth technical requirements to engineers while also presenting sales demos to business leaders. 

What You’ll Need: 

• Demonstratable experience (7 years) building enterprise SaaS products as a Product Manager or equivalent 
• Track record of successfully bringing AI/ML features to market 

Preferred Skills: 

• Real-world experience with Gen AI and LLMs 
• Domain experience in pricing strategy, pricing optimization & management, or related
