Embedded Systems Engineer
Location : Nashville, TN
Duration : 4 months contract to hire
We are seeking a skilled computer engineer to join our team and help us design, develop, and maintain computer software systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with computer architecture, programming languages, software engineering principles, developing drivers, interacting with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS), and networking applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop computer software systems, including drivers for various peripherals
• Test and evaluate systems to ensure functionality and performance
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues, including low-level software and RTOS
• Collaborate with other engineers and teams to design and implement solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies, especially in the areas of drivers, RTOS, and embedded systems
• Provide technical support and assistance to customers
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture, programming languages, and software engineering principles
• Experience with software development and testing, including programming in languages such as C/C , Python, and Golang
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers
• Experience developing drivers and interacting with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Familiarity with networking protocols and systems
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
