What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP FI/CO Process Manager position at ZIM?
Major areas of responsibility:
To support the life-cycle implementation and support of SAP and Company’s best practice within our company.
Main Tasks:
Manage all relevant financial support.
Serve as an SAP support focal point to resolve any SAP related issues.
Provides on-site expertise and exercises independent judgment in directing FI/CO process implementation that is critical to successful implementation and sustainment of program business goals.
Coach and develop key users; provide status updates to key stakeholders on a schedule/recurring basis.
Provide project management services to track the timely and diligent implementation of SAP FI/CO components in a complex international production environment.
Monitor and resolve all FI remedies and ZCMS developments
Manage and execute Agency analysis to determine agency needs.
Direct and coordinate sub coordinates to obtain and analyze all relevant information.
Work closely with the Area & Global implementation teams, Help Desk, business experts and end users in translating needs into functional requirements, converting requirements into project plan development guides.
Works with the Computer System Validation group to implement new requirements and enhancements following the software development lifecycle.
Manage and execute Agency analysis to determine agency needs.
Identify areas needing attention\change and define the relevant work process.
Identify gaps between current work process and best practice. Design the appropriate action (adopt best practice or come up with a new process and approve it in HO).
Requirements:
B.S/B.A. degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related discipline; solid understanding of accounting fundamentals. SAP Knowledge (FI/CO as a minimum). Knowledge of SAP BW is a plus.
Knowledge of accounting principles; procedures and concepts and strong financial skills; experience in as SAP environment.
Software knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
Knowledge of Transportation and Shipping Industry ERP systems and GT Nexus knowledge is a plus. Knowledge of SAP Commercial, Logistic and Operation modules is a strong plus.
Prior customer service experience, call center, and shipping experience is a plus.
