As a CNC Machinist, you will have great lathe experience and will be working with Mazak machines. Company offers a clean working environment and great people to work with.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
A. Operate CNC Machine
B. Read technical drawings and verbal instructions to fabricate machine parts.
C. Use precision measuring tools or equipment.
D. Understand machine setup instructions.
E. Selection of proper tooling for CNC Machine.
F. Drive Forklift (Must be Certified or will train).
G. Basic computer skills including the use of Windows and Microsoft Office products.
Duties and Functions
1. Responsible for routine machine maintenance and keeping work area in neat condition.
2. Follow all safety rules.
3. Operate all common machine shop equipment and hand tools skillfully.
4. Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
5. Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.
6. Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
7. Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines.
8. Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years solid CNC Machinist experience
Certification preferred
Journeymen's license a PLUS
