Zing Recruiting in partnership with a prominent client in Cowpens, SC seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join their team. The perfect candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of employees, contractors, and visitors in the facility by leading programs that protect people from environmental, health and safety hazards. The EHS Manager will lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of environmental health and safety programs as well as regulatory and legal compliance. This includes identifying and correcting potentially dangerous work activities and ensuring training conducted as required. Job Summary:
- $85-100K (Depends on Experience)
- Full Time/Direct Hire

- Provide a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Drives Continuous Improvements Programs
- Initiates corrective action for non-conformance.
- Support/Lead EH&S incident investigations/root cause analysis as required.
- Ensures all safety/environmental compliance reporting is completed as required.
- Site Emergency Coordinator for all safety, health, and environmental incidents
- Development and delivery of site-specific focused H&S training, orientation, and education programs
- Manage hazardous waste program.
- Manages SWPPP
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Trainer Certification Required
- Safety/Environmental Designation/Certification Preferred
- Proven track record in implementing EHS programs and driving continuous improvement.
- 10 years related experience in a safety related field
- Workers’ compensation case management
- ISO 14001 and 45001 preferred
