Warehouse Assistant
The Warehouse Assistant position is an active self-starter with a passion to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. He or she is interested in finding the most effective way to accomplish the task at hand. He or she reports to the Warehouse Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in shipping and receiving - unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
- Prepare orders, pull materials, pack boxes and place orders in delivery area
- Sort and place items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
- Unpack pallets, crates and other containers delivered
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat which includes sweeping, dusting and mopping
- Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
- Always wear the proper safety equipment needed
REQUIRED SKILL SET
- 1-2 yrs. previous warehouse experience preferred
- Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
- Dependable and reliable on a daily basis
- Inventory, data entry, and computer skills required
- Regularly lift and move boxes 10-74 lbs. and occasionally move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
