Process Quality Assistant Manager (FT)

Zinus USA Inc. is looking for a Process QC Assistant Manager who has 4 years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Function:

• Prepare and respond to customer audits (FCCA, SCS, etc.).
• Third-party inspection (BV inspection) progress and monitoring.
• Perform a daily mattress inspection audit with QMS and share the results with the relevant department.
• Manage and update QC samples (Keeping sample, Final sample, CTL sample etc.).
• Root cause analysis and corrective actions with the production team in the event of a defect.
• Initiate, Monitor, and Participate in corrective action.
• Monitor and Classify the defects and Prepare a report accordingly.
• Need to know how to measure each measurement item and make accurate measurements.
• Enter inspection results in the SAP system. (Data entry and management on a daily basis.)
• Audit inspection procedures and methods to ensure proper audits.
• Continuous training and feedback on inspection and measurement methods.
• Write and manage work instructions for incoming inspections.
• Verification and testing of new SKUs.
• Educate and share changes to the worksheet.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assumes other duties as assigned by Team Manager and Director.
• Must perform both on-site and office work at the same time.

Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor’s in Engineering, Chemical or related discipline.
• 4 years of Quality control assitant manager experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in laboratory concepts, practices, and standard procedures, including safety.
• Ability to understand Urethane and Foam or similar process.
• Ability to understand Foam & Mattress test standards (CFR 1633, ASTM D3574).
• Knowledge in ERP (SAP).
• A strong foundation of analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated experience with all MS Office products; with proficiency in Excel to extract and analyze data.
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including great communication with employees.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to access and work in a production and lab environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
