Position Overview

We’re hiring a Full-Time Resident and Independently Licensed Therapist. Must have experience in working with adults and children. Experience in Art Therapy or other expressive arts would be preferred. Must have experience in an evidence treatment modality like CBT, DBT, EMDR, Somatic, or IFS to help us effectively accomplish our mission as a company.

  • Work Hours are between 11-7 for FT
  • Flexible Hybrid schedule
  • 2 evenings or 1 weekend (Sat or Sun)
  • FT-caseload of 27

Compensation: $32 - $42cPay is dependent on experience and licensure.

Compensation:

$32 - $42 DOE and Licensure

Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibility is providing clinical services to adults, children, and teens. Maintain agreed-upon caseload.

More specifically, you will:

  • Maintains a caseload of primary clients and is responsible for the management of the assigned client's care.
  • Complete an initial assessment to determine a client's needs
  • Complete follow-up assessments regularly to determine the effectiveness of treatment
  • Develop an individualized treatment plan that incorporates creative expression, psychotherapy, and counseling techniques
  • Establish goals for individual sessions and long-term objectives for therapy
  • Use art to open discussions regarding the client's individual challenge
  • Instruct clients on using different mediums, such as paint, clay, or yarn
  • Customize programs for groups of adults, children, and teens
  • Submit session notes within 48 hours of the completion of the session
  • Arrive on time for all scheduled sessions
  • Attend mandated meetings
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date charts that comply with the expectations and standards outlined in the ZRCS Policy and Procedure manual
  • Participates in Utilization Reviews

  • Maintain client files in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
  • Participate in clinical consultations and business meetings
  • Attend bi-yearly training to increase knowledge and clinical skills
  • Participate in opportunities to create and facilitate groups
  • Help foster a positive team spirit

Qualifications:

  • MUST hold a Resident Counseling License in VA license LGPC, AFMT
  • A background in Art or certified as an Art Therapist would be preferred
  • This is a Hybrid role. To be considered for this position, you must be located within 35 miles of the job’s listed location.
  • MUST have a Master’s Degree in mental health, counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy
  • MUST have experience in the field of behavioral health, mental health, or social services
  • Preferred Credentials: Yoga Informed Practitioner, Meditation/Mindfulness, Somatic/Bodywork, DBT, CBT and/or IFS/EMDR
  • Must be willing to work a minimum of 30/FT (with a scheduling availability of 35 hours weekly), including 2 evenings or Saturdays
