Summary
You will lead our video game team strategy, content calendar, and network development. You will ensure that our existing alliances are optimized to maximize the engagement on our network delivering stable and replicable growth. You will develop and execute calendarized video game activity along with an internal and external cross-functional team. Best in class entertainment marketing, content, and games. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative, integrated marketer with a passion for gaming capable of delivering breakthrough thinking.
Responsibilities
- Manage pilot programs, data analysis and launch of new gaming experiences
- Leverage insights to optimize and develop strategies to improve performance and drive gaming conversion
- Plan and develop platform communications and programs designed to increase sales and engagement
- Development of game marketing assets and ensure that assets are created to execute with customers
- Work with internal team to optimize guest engagement
- Work with content partners and game developers
- Conduct research to evaluate guest satisfaction of games and new initiatives
- Build financial models that form the decision bases of pricing and strategy
- Monitor industry trends in Entertainment & Gaming through online reports and trade publications to gather insights that enhance the understanding of consumers, markets, and competition
- Manage existing partners and support the team
- Manage daily performance reports, trends and forecast
- Help shape our narrative for client and partner marketing programs, packages, and materials
Qualifications
- Five years of experience in marketing in an applicable industry (gaming, entertainment, consumer goods, mobile/online business, mobile game marketing).
- Understanding of video game publishing and marketing content pipeline from concept to shipping
- Knowledge of pop-culture and current trends in the gaming industry as well as mobile application gaming technology development
- Awareness and understanding of social/cultural trends and current events
- Collaborative team member that works well with internal teams and external partners
- Driven individual with proven successful track record of delivering plans
- Ability to learn and adapt to the ever-changing marketplace and technology demands of our ecosystem
- Innovative and creative thinker that can develop ideas as well as execute those ideas into action
- Proficient analytical skills, interpreting data and identifying the outcome
- Ability to organize, develop a plan, and meet objectives in a timely manner
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Excellent in Excel, pivot tables and project management tools
- Master’s Degree in business with concentrations in marketing, strategy and/or finance preferred
