Summary
Zipcar is seeking an exceptional talent to take on the exciting role of Locations Coordinator. This role will report to the Locations Manager. He or she will be responsible for aiding the Locations Manager in all aspects of local locations operations. He or she must build solid relationships with parking vendors to ensure great location experiences for members, while effectively controlling costs and maximizing operational efficiency through strong coordination and communication with the fleet team.
Responsibilities
- Assists Locations Manager in scouting and securing a diverse parking footprint across the market to meet local neighborhood demand for Zipcars.
- Relationship management: interacts with local parking vendors and pro-actively communicates about problems/issues and positive experiences.
- Vendor payments: compiles and audits vendor payment details to ensure accuracy and timely receipt. Resolves vendor payment balances and/or account credits.
- Locations implementation and audits: ensures locations are member-ready, follow Zipcar guidelines, and are launched and maintained according to operating procedures.
- Inbound communication: first point of contact for location-related service disruptions and in-the-field fleet communication. Handles issues as needed or determines appropriate party for redirecting.
- Signage and branding: coordinates work with signage vendor(s), tracks orders, reviews invoices, and submits invoices for payment; ensures location branding is leveraged as tool for wayfinding and member acquisition
- Competitive analysis: review and report out on competitive footprint changes and evaluate against Zipcar fleet
- Fleet optimization: coordinates with fleet department on vehicles moves needed to hit revenue and utilization targets, as well as temporary logistical moves.
- Special projects: completes assignments as requested by Locations Manager and/or other local market management.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual should meet the following minimum requirements and qualifications:
- Four year college degree in related field, preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLookup etc.
- Ability to work some weekends and alternative shifts
- Willingness to get hands dirty when needed; adjusting signage, inspecting garage and parking spots etc.
- Experience working on a team and understanding how all departments are affected by decisions made.
- Ability to coordinate daily tasks while integrating longer-term goals.
