Job Summary
The Fleet Supervisor will oversee managing the company’s mobile fleet assets from purchase and repairs to retirement as well as managing a team of mechanics, garage facilities, and outsourced repairs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the customer satisfaction of the Fleet vehicle users.• Manage a team of union employees throughout the Ziply footprint• Will utilize sound judgment on when vehicle repairs should be completed by an outside agency that is authorized or qualified to perform such work.• Manage fleet assets assignments to ensure the proper drivers have the proper vehicles• Purchasing vehicles to expand and/or enhance the fleet• Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicles• Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or at least 3 years of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics.• Telecommunications Industry Experience Preferred• Strong customer service and organizational skills required• Valid driver’s license required• Experience managing vendors and general fleet administration activities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment and reasoning skills to a variety of situations
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with other personnel to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work within critical deadlines.
• Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and schedules.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and web-based applications preferred
• Labor relations / union employee management experience preferred

Work Environment
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work is primarily a modern office setting.
Travel withing the four-state footprint of Ziply is required. Approximately 30-40% of the time is spent at various locations and meeting with staff and internal customers.
