Bakery Production Helper
$15.50 / hr
Reporting to the Napoleon Bakery Plant Manager or Assistant Managers, this position is primarily responsible for assisting other staff members in all phases of operations including the preparation of breads, danishes, donuts and various other bakery items.

Requirements
- Able to work between Monday-Sunday, shift will be between from 5 : 30am to 12 : 30am
- Able to work in Waipio
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening. Must have passed a TB test within 12 months or at age 16 or older.
Fully vaccination with the Covid-19 vaccine is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Any previous bakery experience preferred.
- Comfortable working with busy bakery environment, preparation of breads, danishes, donuts and various other bakery items
- Adaptable, team player with a positive attitude. Able to work with people at various skill levels and communicate with people at all levels.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift 25-50 pounds and stand for the entire shift.
- Able to do simple math (add, subtract, multiply, and do simple fractions) and has good planning and organizational skills.
- Able to work in hot / cold environments with ambient temperatures reaching the 100's and A / C rooms as low as 50 degrees.
Also works in walk-in chills and freezers with temperatures as low as minus 10 degrees.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the various departments in getting the daily production done in a timely manner.
- Aware of safety to oneself and others on the floor. Being concerned about the cleanliness of the factory.
- Able to learn how to use the mixers, ovens, divider / rounder, depositors, or other equipment safely. Cleans and cares for the equipment to ensure its long life.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation practices and standards at all times.
