ZIVO Bioscience, Inc., headquartered in Keego Harbor, MI is dedicated to the study, development, and commercialization of natural nutritional compounds and bioactive molecules derived from our proprietary algal strains. The ZIVO algae strain provides a sustainable source of vitamins, prebiotics, micronutrients, and protein with a reduced carbon footprint. As such, we are conducting an accelerated program of testing and validation to meet FDA standards for safety and consistent quality. We are in the design and pilot phase of the build, and start-up of several large-scale microalgae farms in warm-temperate and semi-tropical regions to produce our proprietary strains licensed to each such farm.
We’re hiring an Engineering Project Manager to join our team and to lead the build and execution of our greenfield, microalgae production facilities. In this role, you will have an opportunity to pioneer the largest microalga production facility in the world. You would focus on the project management of $60M projects and would lead teams cross-functionally. You will be responsible for leading the project to be on time, within specifications and requirements, within budget, all while managing the challenges that are associated with a newly developed industry. Your involvement begins with organizing existing growing/testing facilities and staff, building out a small-scale bioreactor facility in Michigan while providing direction to and liaison with a global engineering firm to quickly develop Phase 1 documents for both open pond and bioreactor facilities, working closely with the CEO and CFO. You would be based remotely from your home with travel to the various project sites and headquarters in Michigan. Current projects include facilities in North America and South America, with the possibility of facilities in the Middle East, specifically UAE.
