The Position:
We are seeking a motivated and talented graphic designer to join our creative team as a Technical Illustrator, focusing on creating exceptional content for our training and development initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your creative career and be part of a dynamic team of young professionals revolutionizing our industry!
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate actively with the training and development team to create high-quality employee resources, including user manual illustrations, exploded diagrams, and technical instructions.
- Develop visually appealing graphics and illustrations that effectively communicate complex concepts and instructions.
- Create detailed and accurate exploded diagrams to showcase product components and assembly processes.
- Design user-friendly and visually engaging illustrations for user manuals, ensuring clarity and ease of understanding.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to gather technical information and translate it into visually appealing and informative illustrations.
- Edit and enhance existing graphics and images to improve visual quality and clarity.
- Self-manage time effectively, prioritizing projects based on urgency and importance.
- Approach work with a motivated and selfless attitude, striving for personal and organizational success.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of graphic design principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in using the Adobe Creative Suite is essential, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom. Experience with Premiere and After Effects is a significant plus.
- Prior professional experience in graphic design and photo editing, supported by a comprehensive portfolio.
- Experience with video and audio editing is highly desirable.
- Must be a collaborative team player, willing to contribute ideas and work closely with colleagues.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability to think quickly and effectively in time-sensitive situations.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure projects are well-organized and easily accessible across departments.
- Experience using macOS and proficiency with Apple products.
Preferred but not required:
- Adobe Illustrator or similar vector-based illustration software
- CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for 3D modeling and assemblies
- Graphic editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, GIMP)
- Diagramming software (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart)
- Animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Blender)

Hours:
Monday- Thursday 8:30 AM-5:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch
Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
Compensation:
$45,000 annually Dependent on experience
