Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients by administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with various medical procedures. Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Assist with medical procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and airway management
- Collaborate with registered nurses and physicians to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed at all times
- Assist in the coordination of patient care activities
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license
- Proven experience as an LPN or in a similar role
- Knowledge of ophthalmology, physiology, neonatal ventilator, dementia care, family planning, acute pain management, and DME (Durable Medical Equipment)
- Familiarity with airway management techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
