Job Posting for Shipping clerk at ZOLL
Primary Purpose : Pick and pack ZOLL electrode orders
Primary Functions :
- Pick and pack Customer orders ensuring that the orders transacted are correct prior to shipment and in accordance with Customer instructions.
- Process orders online via UPS or FedEx utilizing Connectship software. Ensure that shipment data is accurate and in line with sales order’s specifications
- Responsible for contributing to physical inventory activities such as count verifications, alignment of inventory by FIFO , etc.
- Be prepared to assist in the preparation of international orders and to verify inventory counts when asked to do so.
- Under all circumstances, perform daily duties in compliance to all safety rules and regulations.
- Adhere at all times to established Company policies and procedures.
- May be called upon to coordinate Inventory transfers between stockroom BIOD (BIO-DETEK) and FGA (ZOLL, MA).
- Pickup office records when instructed to do so and store in designated area.
- Assist in the movement of inventory to ensure that aisles remain clear & passable. Also contribute to inventory put away activities in the shipping area.
- Other duties & special projects as assigned
Required Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years shipping experience
- Any similar combination of education and experience
Competencies :
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team or operate independently when required to do so.
