Job Summary: The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year- end audit preparation and a leadership role of budget and forecast activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure. Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
- Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
- Manage US/global banking relationships and treasury functions.
- Manage US/global insurance relationships
- Work closely with operations management and the Executive team to understand and communicate financial and operational results.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements – Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows – and other financial disclosure requirements with such filings.
- Review plant financials and work effectively with regional controllers.
- Lead the consolidation of multi-currency operating results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Develop financial and managerial reporting procedures and analyses to Executive management, Operational management and throughout the organization.
- Foster teamwork within the department, with auditors, and create a positive customer service image.
- Coordinate with international controllers to prepare and understand comparative metrics.
- Lead budget analysis and support forecasting activities.
- Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work with auditors, both internal and external, to ensure a clean and timely reviews.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Power BI is a plus

Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting, CPA preferred
- Approximately 5 – 10 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with inventory control and manufacturing environment desired
- Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
