WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Drive the evolution of company-wide HR programs, policies, and initiatives including employee experience, safety and wellness, administration, professional development, organizational and talent reviews, and change management
- Develop and maintain relationships with managers and employees, fostering an atmosphere of trust and respect aligned with our company values and culture
- Manage reward and recognition programs, employee experience initiatives, and fringe benefits
- Oversee health and safety programs, including emergency preparedness and workman comp
- Manage policy library, labor law postings, and communications to ensure compliance and awareness
- Address employee relations issues as both a management coach and employee advocate. Apply effective mediation and problem-resolution with a solid understanding of company policy and practice. Manage sensitive employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality and the appropriate sense of urgency
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM
- Three to five years of human resources generalist experience with progressive responsibility implementing cross-functional HR projects in a complex environment
- Proven ability to work and develop trusted partnerships with business leaders, managers, and employees
- Strong project management, time management, conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulations and employment laws required
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential personnel and policy information with discretion
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage competing and conflicting deadlines
- Possess excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, and experience coordinating and facilitating meetings
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field
