About You
You are a hands-on technical leader that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is adept at managing and leading a core team of engineers to deliver complex solutions on tight timelines. You’re an entrepreneurial thinker with a deep understanding of delivering cutting-edge technology solutions within a large enterprise. You can work closely with software architects, product managers, Zones executives, and customers to prioritize and deliver requirements.
What You Will Do
- Manage and lead engineering teams responsible for building the Zones Digital Platform.
- Work with product management to understand and prioritize technical requirements.
- Validate software architecture designs, implementation methodologies, and engineering roadmaps.
- Manage complex software delivery and bi-weekly sprints and demos.
- Help Zones foster and grow a culture of innovation.
What You Have
- 5 years of progressive engineering experience.
- 5 years of experience developing and managing complex enterprise software.
- 5 years of experience building and leading large geo-distributed teams.
- 5 years of experience in software development building large-scale B2B and B2C products
- Hands-on technical experience with C/C , PHP, Python, Rust, Go React, Angular, JavaScript, AWS, Azure, RESTful API, GraphQL, etc.
- Ability to review and critique engineering design and architectural decisions
- Proven track record of leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives
- Deep understanding and commitment to software engineering best practices and principles
- Strong executive presence and experience working across organizational boundaries
- Ability to form alliances with other leaders and executives and build bridges that support company goals
- Outstanding and compelling written and verbal communication skills
Your Education
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field and or relevant experience.
