Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Pet Bather. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and well-being of our furry friends. Duties:
- Bathe and groom pets according to specific instructions and breed standards
- Brush, trim, and style fur as necessary
- Clean and sanitize grooming tools and equipment
- Assist with nail trims and ear cleaning
- Monitor pets for any signs of distress or discomfort during the bathing process
- Provide basic grooming services such as teeth brushing and anal gland expression
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when handling animals
Requirements:
- Previous experience in pet grooming or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming needs
- Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely restrain pets when necessary
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and grooming
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Good communication skills to interact with pet owners and team members
