ZT Systems, is currently seeking a Benefits Manager to join our Human Resources Team. This role is an amazing opportunity to streamline, improve, and enhance our current practices. This position is responsible for all US Benefit programs.

Reporting to our Senior Payroll & Benefits Manager, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the U.S. group benefit plans; including medical and dental plans, vision, life and disability, health savings accounts/flexible spending accounts, commuter benefits, voluntary benefit programs and the defined contribution program.

Your Role

  • You will lead the benefits program for the entire organization, including recommending new or improved benefits plan designs, policies, efficiencies, and cost-saving measures, and leading the benefits support in our HCM system, Workday.
  • You will troubleshoot to resolve all aspects of the organization’s benefit plans.
  • You will lead our annual benefit plan audits and ensure compliance with federal and state laws including the ACA.
  • You will manage employee/employer and employee/vendor relationships. You will review and modify, as necessary Plan Documents, Summary Plan Descriptions and administrative procedures.
  • You will facilitate the annual Open Enrollment process, carrier feeds, health plan renewals and communication materials.
  • You will design and validate reports utilizing the Workday and benefit vendor websites.
  • You will manage all aspects of Leave of Absence benefits


You Will Possess The Following Qualifications To Be Successful

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years benefits experience with health and defined contribution plans.
  • A high attention to detail, a strong work ethic and the ability to collect, organize and analyze data is required.
  • Proven track record in the management of benefit plans and a strong focus on plan compliance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of payroll and accounting relationship to benefits.
