Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with patient care, performing medical administrative tasks, and maintaining accurate medical records. Responsibilities: - Perform vital signs measurements such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures - Administer basic life support when necessary - Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance claims - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Assist with coding and billing processes - Utilize your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately document patient information - Perform X-rays under the supervision of a licensed radiologist - Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, providing education, and ensuring patient comfort - Maintain a clean and organized work environment Skills: - Proficient in physiology knowledge to accurately assess patients' health status - Strong understanding of vital signs measurement techniques - Experience in providing medical administrative support, including appointment scheduling and insurance claims management - Knowledge of basic life support procedures - Competent in medication administration techniques - Familiarity with coding and billing processes in a medical setting - Solid understanding of human anatomy to accurately document patient information - Ability to perform X-rays under the supervision of a licensed radiologist - Excellent patient service skills with the ability to address inquiries and provide education - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Medical Assistants.
