What are the tasks of an LMHC?

A licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) provides counseling and therapy to individuals, couples, and families. They assess clients‘ mental health needs, develop treatment plans, and provide support and guidance to help clients improve their well-being. LMHC‘s also collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure that clients receive comprehensive care.
