Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists (CAPS) are certified to remodel homes for elderly individuals, allowing them to age in place. The certification course teaches how to modify existing homes to meet the needs of older individuals, with course fees starting at $279 for members and an exam fee starting at $75. Certification must be renewed annually at a cost of $65.
