A research professor is a faculty member at a college or university who is not tenured. They are responsible for conducting research within their department and may also assist in teaching postgraduate students. Their daily tasks are assigned by the department director and typically involve writing grant proposals, collecting and analyzing data, verifying scholarly research, monitoring grant funds, and writing academic papers for journals.
