Reebok, an American fitness footwear and clothing manufacturer, was founded in England in 1958 as a companion to J.W. Foster and Sons. In 1979, Paul Fireman brokered a deal to license and distribute Reeboks in the United States, leading to significant sales growth. After being acquired by Adidas in 2005, Reebok was divested in 2021 and sold to Authentic Brands Group for $2.5 billion. As of 2021, Reebok had annual revenue of $2.3 billion and over 9,000 employees.
