Job Description About the Role As a Furniture Designer, you will be under the direction of the Furniture Design Vice President and Head Design Manager. You will develop big ideas, graphic concepts and furniture designs that achieve overall product strategy and merchant objectives on a seasonal basis. You will manage design execution for upholstered seating and wood furniture, leading the product development process by working with major international home-goods manufacturers/vendors. Responsibilities Execute entire design process for a given season. Research and develop seasonal trends, themes, concepts, color, fabric and styling and/or product form, function and manufacturing processes. Own the Occasional Seating category which includes bean bags, occasional chairs, sectionals, soft seating, vanity/desk seating, dorm headboards, new fabrics and furs.
