ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage OSP engineering and construction vendors at a tactical project level, including determination of aerial vs. UG approach at segment level, and approval of handhole and drop locations. Conduct field inspections to ensure quality assurance on specific projects as assigned. Ensure vendor compliance with OSP engineering & construction standards. Facilitate project progress with materials and labor/expertise when warranted. Manage emergency maintenance activities. Hire, train and manage in-house construction personnel.
