Advance Advertising was established in 1949, by Jean and Phil Oberkiser, as a small promotional products business that they operated from their home. Jean often recalls the times she would make phone calls to clients from the closet of their home, so they would not hear the children playing in the background. In time the business grew out of the home and into an office. For over thirty years, Phil and Jean grew the business and raised three beautiful children while doing so. In 1981, Phil and Jean retired, selling the business to their nephew, Lucky Langendorfer. Lucky, as did his aunt and uncle, raised a wonderful family through the hard work of himself, his wife and their dedicated staff. For thirty more years, the family business has continued to thrive and grow. In 2013, Phil and Jean's grandson, Shawn Murphy, took over as owner of the company with a vision to continue the same impeccable level of service. Now, Advance Advertising services everyone from nonprofits, small businesses and major corporations.
