Representing a leader in the civil engineering/design-build industry, we are seeking a skilled Civil Drafter to convert the designs of our civil engineers into detailed technical drawings. The duties of a Civil Drafter include collecting data, creating blueprints using CAD software, and assisting engineers with complex drafting work. Successful candidates should have a firm grasp of mathematics, a keen eye for detail, and excellent technical drawing skills. Responsibilities Preparing and revising detailed drawings and topographical maps. Using CAD software to create blueprints and schematics. Performing topography profiles. Performing cuts and fills on 3D programs. Assisting the engineering team in design and layout of buildings and structures. Checking and reviewing drawings for accuracy and compliance with established technical standards and specifications. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and contractors on the project needs.
