This position is accountable for providing designated labor support at construction project locations for Orion Marine Construction, Inc. Incumbents are responsible for performing a variety of basic physical tasks for the Barge Foremen, Crane Operators, Pile Drivers, Welders, Pipefitters/Carpenters. Typically, they will work under close supervision of the Barge Foreman and skilled craft workers. This position entails working around vessels, water, and heavy machinery. Specific Responsibilities: Works as assigned by the Foreman to ensure the successful completion of on-going or new marine construction projects. Assists skilled craft workers such as Welders, Pipefitters/Carpenters or other skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties.
