Pomona opened its doors in 1974 and since then has continued to build a strong community with a history of spirit, pride, and tradition. Starting in the 2024-2025 school year, after 50 years of excellence, Pomona will transition into a Junior/Senior High School serving students in grades 6 through twelve. As we have in the past, Pomona students will continue to be both challenged and supported academically and as young adults. At the High School level, we offer a wide range of Advanced Placement and Concurrent Credit courses not only in our core academic classes, but also in our exploratory and elective classes. At the Junior High School level (6th through 8th grade), Pomona offers strong academic classes in a smaller setting, while also offering robust exploratory classes in all areas. Students in the 8th grade also have the unique opportunity of taking high school classes and earning graduation credits in some.
