Summary of Position: The Senior Electrical Design Engineer works closely with the lead Project Engineers and is responsible for translation of design requirements into analog and digital board designs – complete with component selection, simulation, schematic capture, layout, documentation, and development and support of test procedures for avionics products. Duties and Responsibilities: § Experience designing PCB circuits (analog, mixed signal, power supplies, and digital) using Cadence OrCAD and/or Altium Designer. § Experience conducting simulation using LTspice or equivalent. § Experienced in design and implementation for aerospace applications. Familiarity with various data and power bus architectures. Familiarity with implementation of micro-processors. § Experience reviewing PCB layouts with Altium, PADS, or Allegro.
