Day to Day Responsibilities Develop and negotiate contracting approaches and methodologies which maximize Blue Cross's competitive position and support its strategic vision of making quality health care more affordable. Responsible for the analysis, negotiation/renegotiation, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of all functions related to provider contracting for a set of ancillary provider networks. Work on the development of rate proposals needed to support contract negotiations using Excel-based modeling tools. Draft and negotiate contract language.
