Our May Center Schools for Autism and Developmental Disabilities offer full-day, year-round educational services to children and adolescents. Focusing on building communication, social, behavioral, vocational, and academic skills. Through hundreds of scientific studies to be the most effective method to teach. We base our programs on applied behavior analysis, or ABA, which has been shown children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities. The primary function, under the direction of the Education Director, is to assist teachers with the selecting, planning and integrating of technology in classroom settings, train teachers to use technology in an effective manner, and work with the Director of Education in curriculum development as it relates to educational technology. The Arlington Public Schools seeks qualified substitute teachers to work on a per diem basis to cover for classroom teachers, special educators and specialists who are absent from the District. Pay is $120 per day. We use an automated system, Frontline Technologies Absence Management, for substitute assignments.
