Job Description Job Description The Graphic Artist is responsible for the planning, layout, creation and or reproduction of graphic artwork. They will use a CGC order, customer specifications and SOPs to produce art files for the manufacturing of flexographic printing plates. The Graphic Artist is expected to drive Container Graphics CS1 mindset and always represent the company in a positive, energetic, and consistent manner. They will report directly to the Art Supervisor or Production Manager. • Review a CGC order and all supporting information to accurately generate artwork, files and/or film negatives • Ensure the materials used in the process are clean and within the specification • Follow SOP’s when using equipment to produce file negatives in accordance with the order and customer specifications • Visually inspect film negatives for any defects or deviations from the order, standard or customer specifications • Inspect files for any defects or deviations from the order, standard
