The senior stafff accountant will be responsible for daily accounting functions and assisting with the monthly closing process. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Challenge current processes across the company and identify opportunities for refinement Has the ability to analyze financial information, identify and report inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports Has experience with making general ledger entries, has a deep understanding of debits and credits Develops and promotes internal controls to protect financial assets that align with auditing standards and ensures those standards are followed Perform daily reconciliations, identify inconsistencies, track down root cause and corrective action Assist in the inventory audit and reconciliation functions. Assist in the Accounts payable functions Comfortable working in a fast paced, fast-growing organization Research and respond to accounting inquiries from various personnel. Communicate findings in a clear and concise manner
