These positions will work the 4th OR 5th shift at our Southington, CT Plant. Working days/hours for this shift are: 4th Shift: Thursday/Friday - 10:45pm to 7:15am and Saturday and Sunday - 6:45pm to 7:15am, 5th Shift: Saturday/Sunday - 6:45am to 7:15pm and Monday/Tuesday - 6:45am to 3:15pm Position Summary: The Assembly Technician is responsible for ensuring the correct operation of automatic and semi-automatic assembly production equipment in accordance with governing documentation. Initiate action to prevent nonconformances related to the product and equipment. Identify and record problems relating to the product, process and/or quality system. Initiate recommendations, provide solutions, and verify the effectivity of continuous operational improvements. The Technician will apply automation skills along with related knowledge in electronics, mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and modify automated machinery.
